Jester Oberliga Kornwestheim: Princess Antonia and new President Lars!
On November 15, 2025 the time had finally come: the regular order evening of the Narren-Ober-Liga (NOL) Kornwestheim took place in the festively decorated Pattonville community hall. At 7:33 p.m. the new President Lars Schubert welcomed the numerous guests and opened the evening with warm words. He replaced Martin Türk, who handed over the leadership of the NOL after an impressive eight years as president. Traditionally there was an enthronement at which Antonia the First was celebrated as the new princess. The former active dancer and trainer not only inspires her club, but also ensures a lively carnival session with fresh enthusiasm.
The evening was peppered with a varied program. The chair of the meeting, Katharina Fehmer, led the evening charmingly and ensured that the atmosphere always remained at the highest level. A musical highlight were the inspiring performances by the “NOL Renegades Guggen”, which encouraged those present to celebrate. At the Garden's presentation, the members of the club were able to show off their talents and captivate the audience with their performances.
Honors and awards
Another highlight of the evening was the awarding of the new annual medal to numerous club members and representatives from a total of 11 guest clubs. The motto was: “Martin’s time as president is over – now Lars is ready for something new!”. In addition to the celebration, the deserving members of the club and the regional association of Württemberg carnival clubs (LWK) were also recognized. The awards included:
- Verdienstmedaille: Sarah Butterweck, Sandra Grüninger, Matthias Merle
- Großkreuz: Sarah Graichen, Hans-Jürgen Schneider
- Silberner Gardeorden: Sina Heiter
- Goldener Gardeorden: Bianca Schubert
- Großer Verdienstorden am Bande: Katharina Bahr
The festival councilor Geert Seifert also gave a humorous speech in honor of the outgoing president, which put a smile on the guests' faces and caused a few laughs.
Social responsibility and support for clinic clowns
A notable aspect of the order evening was the NOL's support for the clinic clowns of the “Humor Helps Heal” campaign. The donation boxes that were set up at the end of the evening showed how much the members care about the campaign. The boxes were well filled at the end of the evening and underlined the NOL's social commitment to the community.
The Narren-Ober-Liga Kornwestheim was founded in 1972 and has since been dedicated to maintaining and promoting carnival customs. With over 200 members, more than half of whom are active, and membership in various associations, the club plays a central role in the regional carnival scene. The upcoming events, which are traditionally organized by the NOL, include, among other things, the town hall storming and the fool's tree stands as well as the large carnival parade through Kornwestheim.
The NOL's commitment not only includes the organization of celebrations, but also the maintenance of customs by various groups in the club, such as the Elferrat and the various guards. If you are interested, you can find further information on the Narren-Ober-Liga homepage.
The NOL looks back on an eventful time and looks forward to a successful new year under the leadership of Lars Schubert. It will be exciting to see how the club will develop further!
