The Arminia Bielefeld team celebrated an impressive 4-0 win against Karlsruher SC in their home stadium on November 8, 2025. In front of 26,004 enthusiastic spectators in the Schüco Arena, Bielefeld was able to impressively demonstrate its strength, especially in the second half.
Sports director Michael Mutzel, who has a close friendship with KSC coach Christian Eichner, saw a game that Bielefeld dominated from the start. Joel Grodowski missed the first chance in the second minute, but the team didn't let that discourage them. Especially in the first half, Arminia had the game firmly in hand, pushed the KSC far back and created several scoring opportunities.

In the 45th minute, the superiority was rewarded with a penalty after Maximilian Großer was brought down in the penalty area. Immediately after the restart, Bielefeld increased their lead to 2-0 through Momuluh, who was able to finish unchallenged after a failed pass from Förster. Just a few minutes later, in the 50th minute, Momuluh scored a brace and made it 3-0. Noah Sarenren Bazee put the icing on the cake on Bielefeld's great performance with a header in the 60th minute and made it 4-0.
A shot that didn't count
As a result, Grodowski had the opportunity to increase the score to 5-0, but his goal was disallowed - a refereeing decision that did not concern referee Patrick Schwengers after the game had cleared things up. Bielefeld substituted Momuluh and Sarenren Bazee in the 66th minute, which did not dampen the team's momentum.
In the 78th minute, Wörl had another chance, which he put just over the goal, and Isi Young also missed the target in the 86th minute after a good attack. Karlsruhe, on the other hand, barely got into the game and had a lot of trouble putting themselves into the spotlight offensively, as Arminia.de and kicker.de picked up on.
