Künzelsau is launching exciting climate protection initiatives for 2025!
On the way to an ecologically sustainable coexistence, the city of Künzelsau has launched a new annual program. With the motto “Our city – our climate”, the municipality aims to bring the ecological, social and economic dimensions of sustainability into greater focus. In this context, not only various events but also numerous activities are planned to raise awareness among the population and promote commitment. That reports my.voice.de.
What's on the program? A themed week entitled “Good climate for Hohenlohe” will kick things off. Various events are planned from March 17th to May 18th, 2025, ranging from interactive city walks to lectures on Fairtrade and garbage collection campaigns. Künzelsau not only offers a platform for information, but also the opportunity to actively participate and help shape a more environmentally friendly future.

- 17. März 2025, 18 Uhr: Vortrag über Dachsanierung und Photovoltaik im Großen Sitzungssaal des Rathauses. Anmeldung unter klimazentrum@hohenlohekreis.de.
- 31. März – 12. April 2025: Flurputzaktion mit Beteiligung der Schulen und vieler engagierter Gruppen.
- 4. April 2025, 15 – 17 Uhr: Interaktiver Stadtspaziergang „Walk & Talk – Der fairen Schokolade auf der Spur“ mit dem Weltladen Künzelsau. Treffpunkt Rathaus Künzelsau, Anmeldung erforderlich.
- 10. April 2025, 16 Uhr: Gemeinsame Müllsammelaktion. Treffpunkt: Rathausfoyer, keine Anmeldung notwendig.
- 9. Mai – 29. Mai 2025: STADTRADELN Hohenlohekreis.
- 10. Mai – 18. Mai 2025: Aktionswoche „Gutes Klima für Hohenlohe“. Hier wird Inspiration und Engagement zur Förderung einer nachhaltigen Zukunft geboten.
- 24. Juni 2025, 10 – 18 Uhr: Sanierungsmobil in der Innenstadt Künzelsau. Auch hier ist keine Anmeldung nötig.
- 8. November 2025, 18 Uhr: (Fern)Sehen – Sternegucken in der Innenstadt.
- 17. November 2025, 18 Uhr: Energieberatungsoffensive im Großen Sitzungssaal Rathaus Künzelsau.
A wide spectrum is covered in the areas of fair trade and sustainable living in order to both inform citizens and promote community projects. For example, a fair breakfast on May 17, 2025 should show the people in Künzelsau how important it is to deal with food in a responsible manner.
Energy advice and sustainability
Particular attention is paid to energy advice, which will also be offered on November 17, 2025. Registration takes place via klimazentrum@hohenlohekreis.de.
