Rheinstetten, Deutschland - The city festival in Rheinstetten from July 18 to 2025 is just around the corner and promises a lively experience for all visitors. As part of the festival, guests from the partner cities of Vecsés in Hungary, Navarrenx in France and Palca in Peru are expected. The anticipation increases and there is a lot to discover!
The contribution of the Hungarian delegation becomes particularly exciting - the partnership committee from Vecsés brings a delicacy of Hungarian cuisine, including Langos, Goulash, and even Hungarian wine and fresh watermelons. In addition, the cultural association Vecsés appears on Sunday, July 20, with traditional dances and singing, which underlines the culture and warm -hearted hospitality of the Hungarians.partnership and history in the foreground
The city festival is also an opportunity to celebrate the long -term cooperation with the partner cities. The official city twinning with Navarrenx has existed for 30 years, while the exchange with the Freundeskreis of Navarrenx has existed for 60 years. The partnership with Palca even goes back to 1978, and the last visit from Peru took place in 2019. Thanks to the host families in Rheinstetten, who warmly record the visitors and ensure a pleasant cooperation as part of the festival.
The cultural association Vecsés also has an exciting story. Founded in November 1993 with only 31 members, the association was created by a law that enabled the formation of minority representatives. One goal of the association is the care of the German language and the promotion of identity, which is supported by numerous events and exhibitions. The monthly performances of old German church songs that have been taking place since May 1990 are particularly remarkable.

The city partnerships, as they also exist between Rheinstetten and Vecsés, not only promote cultural exchange, but also have historical roots that are often due to similar stories or historical connections. These relationships help to overcome prejudices and to promote understanding between different cultures.
For the cultural association Vecsés, the extraction of young members is at the top of the agenda to ensure the continuity of the association and to continue to maintain German traditions in the country. In the anniversary year 20 years of cultural association there were already numerous congratulations from local personalities and appearances by school children.
