In Kraichtal-Münzesheim we are currently working diligently on renewing the Kraichbach Bridge. The renovation has been underway since December 2024 and is being carried out on behalf of the Karlsruhe Regional Council. When the renovation of the road surface of the L 554 began on June 12, 2025, the work was divided into seven construction phases. Drivers and residents have to adapt
The diversion routes will remain active until the entire measure is completed. Road users from Eppingen are routed via the B 35 to Bruchsal and Ubstadt, while traffic from Kronau is routed via the L 635 to Odenheim. The parallel bridge for pedestrians and cyclists will also remain completely closed until June 18, 2025, and detours via Rathausstrasse and Obere Torstrasse must also be accepted here.
After completion of construction phases 1 and 4, which are scheduled to last until July 7, 2025, construction phases 2 and 3 between Settlement Street and Fasanenstraße will be renovated.
