Egringen celebrates: Summer festival inspires with music and mouse!

In Egringen, the summer festival is currently celebrated until Monday evening, and the mood could not be better. The festival, which started splendidly on Saturday evening, July 13th, attracts not only locals, but also visitors from the area. The focus is particularly on music, because the Musikverein Rheinbischofsheim opened the festival with a mixture of traditional brass music and modern sounds, under the direction of Lilio Jones Gonzalez. The audience was enthusiastic and rewarded the musicians with a lot of applause.

The second part of the evening was characterized by the band "The Fashion Project", which caused a good mood with rousing dance music. The Musikverein Egringen itself provided the physical well -being of the guests, which presented culinary delights such as steak, sausage salad, burger and a large cake counter in two fully occupied tents. On Sunday there was roast pork, while on Monday a craftsman meal with music goulash is on the program. These offers are part of the association's efforts to support finances through the summer festival.

full program for all

The summer festival has a lot to offer: around 300 helpers work in shift work to make the festival smoothly. The chairman Martin Frey emphasizes the importance of the event for the financial means of the music association, which currently has 55 active musicians and 70 young musicians. The training of these musicians, especially in the wind class, is cost -intensive. In addition, a new, uniform clothing for the active musicians is purchased to ensure a uniform appearance.

The marquee is open until 1 a.m., one hour earlier than in previous years. On Monday, the festive day begins at 11:30 a.m. with the craftsman and office steering. From 4 p.m., the little guests can expect a children's elation and from 7:30 p.m. the Musikverein Bad Bellingen will play. The crowning glory is another concert by "The Fashion Project" from 9 p.m.

community and culture in focus

The festival is not only a celebration of music, but also a platform for the community. An atmospheric program is offered on different days. For example, the original Laufelberg musicians open on Sunday with Bohemian-Moravian speed and on Sunday a festival service will take place with musical contributions from the local singing club and the youth orchestra. The Egringen musicians also present their summer program under the direction of Carl-Philipp Rombach and show the variety of talents that can be found in the region.

The positive experience with football broadcasts at previous festivals will also be taken into account this year if the European Championship final is broadcast live in the marquee on Sunday evening. The Egringer are optimistic and look forward to a great finale that is supposed to provide additional swing in the marquee.

Overall, the summer festival in Egringen is a successful example of how cultural traditions can be lived and promoted. The music and the community are in the foreground here, and the numerous helpers and the visitors help to ensure that the festival becomes a complete success.
