VfR Aalen triumphs again: 5-1 home win against Oberachern!

In the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg, VfR Aalen remains at the top of the table, thanks to an impressive 5-1 win against SV Oberachern. After 15 match days, the Aaleners now have 39 points and can proudly look back on a series of five wins in a row. This remarkable performance ensures that VfR remains undefeated. As Schwäbische Post reports, the game took place in the impressive Ostalb Arena, where 1,433 spectators cheered on the home team.

Already in the first half, VfR showed where the hammer lies. Coach Beniamino Molinari had adjusted his team well, but warned of the guests' dangerous standards and fast style of play. Aalen started with clear offensive accents. In the 7th minute, the hosts created a double chance, but the early goal failed to materialize.

A strong team

In the 33rd minute the time had come: Kindsfather made it 1-0 for Aalen, followed by a header goal by Vico Meien in the 39th minute, which came from a corner from Kahriman. We went into the half-time break with a 2-0 lead, and Aalen continued seamlessly in the second half. In the 48th minute, Antlitz made it 3-0 after another corner, which put SV Oberachern under heavy pressure.

After a red card for Scherer in the 53rd minute, the team in second place was unable to get back into the game and had to accept Güzelcoban's goal in the 57th minute. But Aalen responded immediately: First, Döringer increased the score to 4-1 in the 67th minute, before Maksimovic made the final score 5-1 with a penalty in the 72nd minute.

Looking into the future

With this victory, VfR Aalen consolidates its position in the league and can look forward to the next matchday with satisfaction.
