1. FC Heidenheim got off to a bumpy start in the current 2025/2026 Bundesliga season. After two games played and no points, the team is currently in 17th place in the table. In the previous matches, the Heidenheimers suffered two defeats: On August 23rd, VfL Wolfsburg defeated the Heidenheimers 3-1, followed by a 0-2 defeat against RB Leipzig on August 30th.
