Thursdays in the Rems-Murr district: Summer music events tempt you!

In Baden-Württemberg, especially in the Rems-Murr district, the summer of 2025 will be musical and really colorful. From Thursday, July 3rd, things will get really hot in various cities, with numerous events inviting you to chill out with music and enjoy the beautiful weather. The initiatives promise a varied program that not only pampers the ears, but also creates a sociable atmosphere.

The “Live in the Park” event is being launched in Fellbach and will take place on Guntram-Palm-Platz until the beginning of September. Admission is free and visitors can look forward to concerts from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Here the listeners can expect a great line-up, starting with the band Brothers in Arms, a tribute to Dire Straits. A highlight will be the Viva La Vida concert on August 21st, which brings Coldplay's music to life. On August 28th, Help will perform the Beatles' hits and, at the end of the day, the Golden Glitter Band will put you in a good mood with their hits from the 1970s.

Waiblingen refreshes

A very special event is taking place in Waiblingen: At “Waiblingen refreshes”, which takes place every Thursday at the market square from June 5th to October 2nd, guests can immerse themselves in the world of selected wines from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There is a wine tasting with various wineries from the Remstal, which is known for its excellent wines. Creative snacks from regional restaurateurs round off the culinary experience. Haidle Winery will be a guest at this event on July 3rd, followed by a number of other wineries until the event on October 2nd, where participants can look forward to craft beer.

The organizers of this event, the Haidle winery and the Bachofer restaurant, focus on enjoyment and invite you to enjoy the evenings outdoors with regular live music with various bands and solo artists. A musical highlight is the performance by SaxRose.

Street music days and Schorni style

In Backnang there will be the “Street Music Days” from July 31st to September 11th. Artists will perform on a mobile stage in the city center on seven Thursdays. Here it is important to present the music in an uncomplicated and acoustic way, which creates a very special flair. At the same time, the “After-Work Thursday Schorni Style” takes place in Schorndorf, which is part of the popular summer mile. At this event, locals and visitors meet between the market square and Rosenplatz, where bands play weekly. The first band, Waschbrett, will also perform on July 3rd and take guests into the world of music.

The summer months offer a wide range of cultural events. Whether in Fellbach, Waiblingen, Backnang or Schorndorf, there is definitely something for everyone here.
