Important administrative reforms in Ludwigsburg: leadership changes and savings!

A lot is happening in Ludwigsburg: the city administration is breaking new ground with its WIN LB consolidation program. The aim of this restructuring is not only to save one million euros in expenses, but also to increase administrative efficiency. The local council decided to reduce the number of departments from four to three and also reduce the number of departments. This means that from theJanuary 1, 2026two departments are merged.

A look at the new structures shows that the city administration is reacting courageously. The existing areas of organization, human resources as well as IT and digitalization will be combined into a new department, which will be managed bySusanne Karstedtis directed. At the same time, under the leadership ofMartin Kurta new department for urban planning, mobility and geoinformation, which combines the previous departments of urban planning and geoinformation with that of sustainable mobility. In the future, financial management, controlling and auditing will be carried out byPatrick Sekingerresponsible.
