New gastronomic highlights in the Esslingen district: culinary discoveries!

A lot has happened in the Esslingen district in recent months when it comes to new gastronomic experiences. With a number of exciting new openings, the culinary landscape in the region has changed significantly, and locals can look forward to a variety of offerings.

A special highlight is the “Baby Amore” in Filderstadt-Bonlanden, which was specially designed for young families. Here parents and children will find a play kitchen and a reading corner, which, according to co-owner Carmine Grimaldi, is very well received. The concept seems to be a complete success.

Rustic cosiness and Asian delicacies

The TVO Alm in Rüdern, which has been under the lease of Geraldine Fleming and Ivica Jankovic since June, has created a rustic ambience that is also very popular with guests. Another new addition is “Lunar” in Nürtingen, where Toni Kluttig puts high-quality Asian cuisine on the menu. If you prefer something modern, you can visit “Terrasse 14” on the Nürtinger city balcony. This opens with a fresh design and also Asian cuisine, and the initial feedback is consistently positive!

With “Spaghetto d’oro” on Pliensaustraße in Esslingen, Riccardo Miglietta offers homemade pasta and Italian classics. People here are optimistic about the upcoming Christmas season. In Esslinger Unteren Metzgerbach, the “Café Moka” under the management of Nicole Bratek and Philipp Savvopoulos also got off to a good start.

A new beach feeling in Esslingen

Last but not least, the “Mauritius – the Beach Restaurant” in Weststadt has reopened after extensive renovation. Here, guests can experience a completely new concept with a beach feeling and a lava stone grill - a real eye-catcher for anyone who wants to bring that holiday feeling to the city.

The large number of new openings shows that Esslingen's gastronomy remains lively and diverse. Whether rustic coziness, Asian delicacies or Italian classics – everyone will find the right restaurant here. It remains to be seen how these exciting concepts will develop in the region and whether they can perhaps shape the culinary landscape in the long term.

As the Esslinger newspaper reports, guests can look forward to an exciting gastronomic offering that will slowly but surely bring planned concepts to life. Where the kitchen is more than just food, but a place of sociability and joy, cultural identity is also celebrated. Only time will tell which of these new spots have what it takes to permanently win the hearts of locals.
