Art in the region: New exhibition Zeitstoffe” opens in Kirchheim!
The art scene in Baden-Württemberg also has a lot to offer this year. The next stage of the annual exhibition series “Art in the Region” will open on November 2nd, 2025. This time it's all about the exciting motto “Time Fabrics”. The event is organized by Kirchheim unter Teck, Nürtingen and Wendlingen am Neckar and promises to provide an overview of the creative work of regional artists. Kirchheim Teck reports that the exhibition is being carried out by the art association of the city of Kirchheim unter Teck and will enliven the gallery walls of Galerie Diez in Dettingen unter Teck from November 2nd to 30th, 2025.
The opening will take place on Sunday, November 2nd at 5 p.m. You can look forward to a welcome from the mayor, Dr. Pascal Bader and an introduction to the themes of the exhibition by the artist Michael Gompf. Among the creatives exhibiting are Maria Grazia Sacchitelli, Benjamin Bronni and Wolfgang Zieher, all of whom contribute unique perspectives and artistic interpretations to the topic of “time fabrics”.
Artist meeting and creative impulses
These local art events always have a social character. For example, the summer festival that took place on July 2, 2023 was a great success. It was jointly organized by various organizations, including the Brückenhaus e.V. association and the congregation of Thomaskirche. At Rambouillet Square, the sun shone over the numerous activities that attracted large crowds. The Kirchheim Art Association contributed an exciting graffiti offering that attracted numerous creative children and young people under the motto “make a wish…”. Under the guidance of Christian Pomplun, the participants were able to develop their own motifs and implement them directly on site.
The graffiti campaign showed once again that art is also a platform for the participation and development of talents of all age groups. The younger participants also had the opportunity to create pictures with foam paint, supervised by interns from the Kerstin Starkert studio.
Art as a connecting element
The commitment of the city of Kirchheim unter Teck and the art association is a sign of the great importance that culture and art have in the region. Events like the upcoming exhibition and the summer festival not only promote creativity, but also community. The exhibition's opening hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., making it easy for art enthusiasts to plan a visit.
With the opening of the “Zeitstoffe” exhibition on November 2nd, a new creative phase begins in Kirchheim and the region. Take the opportunity to discover the diversity and talent of regional artists!
