On August 9th, the popular summer pruning course run by the Obstbauverein Böblingen e.V. took place in the fruit tree garden in Böblingen. In bright sunshine and postcard weather, around 25 fruit tree friends gathered to learn valuable tips and techniques about summer pruning of pome and stone fruit from specialist Magdalene Binder. This was not only an opportunity to learn, but also to socialize, with old gardening tricks and delicious recipes shared among participants.
