Right -wing extremist mobilization: CSD Dortmund under threat!

In recent years, the right -wing extremist scene in Germany has more mobilized again and has been shown by various events and demos. So Indymedia reported on a right -wing extremist demonstration in Bretzenheim on May 11, 2024, in which drummer Marika Hartmann was active. Marcus Lehmann, a well -known face of the scene, was mentioned as a former member of the Terror Crew Muldental. He is not only considered a singer of the right -wing extremist band Aryan Hope, but was also involved in a bloody incident in the football game of the Red Stern Leipzig in Brandis in 2009.

Lehmann, who was born in Wurzen on May 14, 1986, was an important member of the Franconia Division until his allegation of harassment. The division of this group led to the foundation of several new right-wing extremists, including Munich Revolt and Sturmtrupp 21. Other actors such as Daniel Kokott from Leopoldshöhe as well as Dino Ciarlo and Lilien Kirchgesner are current supports of the right-wing extremist scene, with Kokott being accused of registering DST-Demo on May 17, 2025.

The reason for new mobilizations of the right is also evident in the context of Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Dortmund on September 14, 2024, where the police expected right -wing extremists. Already the day before there were several events with participants from the right and left spectrum, with the police enforced strict requirements for the rights' meetings. Despite the high police presence, there were two criminal proceedings initiated before the CSD, including because of the Hitler salute. The goal of the police was to protect the peaceful meetings and consistently act against criminals, reports Ruhr24 .

The right -wing extremist scene in Dortmund, although largely smashed, has once again been strengthened by mergers such as "The disturbance team" and the fusion of the parties "The Rights" and "NPD". The leading heads of this group are Sascha Krolzig and Alexander Deptolla, who both already represent MPs in Dortmund local parliaments.

Number games in right -wing extremism

A look at the statistics of the protection of the constitution shows that the personal potential of violent right -wing extremists rose to around 15,300 people in 2024. This is part of a larger increase that has increased the entire right -wing extremist potential to over 50,000 people. In addition, 37,835 right -wing extremist crimes were registered in one year - an alarming increase of 47.4 % compared to the previous year, according to the numbers on constitutional protection.de .

The increase in violent attacks with xenophobic background is particularly worrying. This increase is also reflected in the focus of right -wing extremist agitation, which is increasingly focusing on topics such as asylum, migration and queer hostility. The number of right -wing extremist demonstrations also remained at a high level at 360 in 2024, which underlines the continued activity in this scene.

It remains to be hoped that society and the authorities will remain vigilant in order to decide to counter the upswing of right -wing extremist movements.
