The Bentley Bentayga Speed returns and sets new standards in the world of luxury SUVs. With a distinctive character and impressive performance figures, the model is described as the “last of its kind”, meaning Bentley is drawing a special line with this vehicle. Instead of the traditional twelve-cylinder, the new Bentayga Speed relies on a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which provides exciting driving moments with an impressive output of 478 kW (650 hp) and a maximum torque of 850 Nm. Ka-news reports that acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h occurs in just 3.6 seconds, while the top speed is up to 310 km/h. A true powerhouse!
But the improvements don't just end with performance. Bentley has equipped the Bentayga Speed with the most modern functions that further enhance the driving experience. These include launch control and a drift mode in the stability control, which together with all-wheel steering offer significantly increased agility and stability. The new 23-inch wheels could prove to be a real eye-catcher and are optionally available with carbon ceramic brakes. Bentleymotors emphasizes that the sporty conversion is rounded off by expanded vehicle options.
Individual design options
Another advantage of the Bentayga Speed is the almost unlimited individual design options. Buyers can choose from around 80 different color options, including seven standard exterior colors and a new selection of optional finishes with satin color and duo-tone options. Historically inspired colors from the Mulliner Legacy Collection are also available to add a personal touch to each vehicle. Bentleymedia informs that the choice of rims extends up to 23 inches and the brake calipers are available in a variety of colors, including classic sport red and hyper green.
Inside, customers can choose from 15 primary leather colors, and the exclusive Speed color scheme allows for additional personalization options. This includes accent colors, contrasting stitching and contrasting piping, which makes each vehicle completely unique. Bentley has also paid great attention to the interior design, offering a precise diamond quilt design that exudes both comfort and elegance.
The price for the Bentayga Speed starts at 268,800 euros, a price increase of around 20 percent compared to the previous model. With its unmistakable appearance and spectacular performance data, the Bentayga Speed impresses both in the city and on the highway, where it is considered a new reference in the luxury SUV segment.
