Attention garden fans: Day of the open garden door in the Biberach district!

Biberach, Deutschland - June 29, 2025 is all about garden friends in the Biberach district! On this Sunday, the state association for fruit growing, garden and landscape Baden-Württemberg (Logl) invites you to the festive "Open Gartent door". Garden lovers have the unique opportunity from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to visit various gardens in the region and gain interesting insights into the world of horticulture. Particularly gratifying: The district of Biberach is the leader of the event with 28 participating gardens, which takes place in this form for the second time.

A highlight among the wonderful gardens is the user, fruit and natural garden of Ralf and Barbara Helène in Bergerhausen. Here you meet shadow -giving fruit trees and beautiful wildflower islands that not only give people joy, but also attract bees and butterflies. The couple proves that a natural garden can be designed with little effort. Tips such as unused areas or dead wood corners to promote insect habitats are just a few of the ideas that visitors can take home.

The list of participant gardens is extremely diverse: everything is offered from natural gardens to useful and orchard to ornamental and farm gardens. The gardens vary in their size of 100 to 3,000 square meters and spread across the entire district - from Langenslingen in the west to Kirchdorf an der Iller in the east and from Warthausen in the north to Eberhardzell in the south. Some gardens focus on ecological concepts, offer insect hotels, domestic perennials and vegetable beads in mixed culture. So sustainability is very important, and every visitor can be inspired how to ecologically upgrade his own garden.

For everyone who cannot get enough on Sunday, there are additional sightseeing days. In addition to today, other gardens will also open their goals on June 22nd and July 6, 2025. Each garden has different opening times, so it is worth taking a closer look at the individual offers.
