Bach and Mendelssohn: A Musical Journey

The concert program offers an exciting musical examination of the works of Bach and Mendelssohn. Bach's compositions are an integral part of church music and lay the foundation for many subsequent musical movements. Mendelssohn, on the other hand, has built an impressive link to Bach's legacy with his Reformation Symphony, which is performed in a special arrangement.

This combination of baroque splendor and romantic sentiment promises an unforgettable experience for all music lovers and those interested. A similar concept met with great response in 2017, when the Witten Bach Choir performed a concert with the motto “Luther-Bach-Mendelssohn” to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. The connection between these important composers was also honored there, in particular through the performance of Bach's chorale cantata and Mendelssohn's famous symphony. These already well-known topics have moved countless listeners and will certainly give you goosebumps in Bad Schussenried.

The concert on November 23rd in Bad Schussenried is not just a musical performance, but a celebration of culture and community.
