Big festival in Weinheim: free entry to the Heimattage 2025!
On September 12, 2025, Weinheim will be dedicated to the Baden-Württemberg Heritage Days. Today we are already busy preparing for the big festival on Friday, September 13th. The fairy lights and colorful decorations have already been installed in the castle park so that everything shines in full splendor when the mayor opens at 7:30 p.m Manuel Just takes place.
A special highlight will be the tapping of the beer barrel, which will take place together with the festival tent hosts and the chairman of the trade association, Roland Müller, is celebrated. There's also free beer, while stocks last. A festive opening concert by the band El Flecha Negra, which consists of musicians with South American roots, will provide a musical backdrop to the evening. This event is organized by the city of Weinheim and Café Central.
Free entry and a colorful program
The festive season offers a captivating motto: “Home is a feeling,” which embodies open-heartedness and a welcoming culture. The large marquee that has space for around750 peoplewill be the central point of contact for visitors until Sunday evening. There will be music with Weinheim actors on two days, supplemented by a traditional evening on Saturday. TheLarge state paradeis scheduled for Sunday, September 14th at 2 p.m.
A special event will be the return of the Home Days flag Manuel Just to Prime Minister Winfried Kretschmann show, which starts at 4:30 p.m Gregor Bühler, the mayor of Oberkirch. This city will host the 2026 Heritage Days next year.
Diverse event highlights
The program is enriched by further attractions. There will be one on Saturday Art flea market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a music club day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Over the weekend, visitors can expect a Dürreplatz festival and a shopping Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. TheEcumenical serviceon Sunday at 11 a.m. and numerous children's programs also have their place in the hustle and bustle.
In order to get to the event comfortably, thefree bus transportavailable on the state festival weekend in Weinheim, Hemsbach and Laudenbach, with additional trips through the VRN transport association.
