Heated music enjoyment: Gauss rocks delighted despite the tropical heat!

Hockenheim, Deutschland - On June 29, 2025, the fourth school festival "Gaus Rockt" took place in Hockenheim, which delighted despite tropical temperatures. After the festival was hit by the rain last year, visitors experienced a summer heat this year, which made even the most stubborn music fans sweat. The event started in the morning at the southern Schulhof of the Gauß-Gymnasium and offered a platform for pupils and students, teachers and alumni who together created an exuberant atmosphere. "Despite the heat, the mood was creative," said the headmistress Anja Kaiser, who enjoyed the growing popularity of the festival.

This year, visitors first had to do without the beer benches, as the temperatures did not allow this. Nevertheless, the organizers and the fans could not get themselves down and celebrated the music. The originally planned opening volume "Girl Vibes only" canceled at short notice, so that the band "Zenitha" jumped in without further ado. They heated the audience properly with hits like "old fever" of the dead pants and "what’s up" of 4 non blondes.

a colorful program

The musical offer was diverse and delighted those present. The band "The Band" followed with rocky ballads, including "What I’ve Done" by Linkin Park and "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day. "Four on the Floor", the jazz band of the high school, enchanted the audience with a rousing performance of "Summertime". The teacher band "Wait" in particular set accents with well -known songs such as "Basket Case" by Green Day and brought the audience to sing along.

The CFG school band also performed and provided a good mood with "Uptown Funk" and "The Emptiness Machine". Last but not least, "Lene Wood", under the direction of Charlene Holzgreve, encouraged the audience to sing along with "Weather with you". As a crowning glory, the metal formation "Execution" played a cross-genre mix, including "Killing in the name" by Rage Against The Machine. An all -round successful festival that put the community and the commitment of the students for the foreground.

A look into the future

The event "Gauss Rockt" is not only a highlight in the school year, but also an important part of cultural life in the Hockenheim region. Apart from rock and pop music, the focus is on promoting musical talents, as is the planned international music program "Share My Music", which will make high waves from the coming year. Top -class world musicians from the Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria and Germany will enrich the schools and concert halls of the area with various sounds. Here the association "together life e.V." Great emphasis on musical encounters and the integration of different cultural circles.

In this sense, the “Gauss rock” festival shows impressively that music not only connects, but also offers an important platform for social engagements and cultural exchange.
