In the Stadtbücherei Schorndorf, small bookworms sniff the world of books today, on July 13, 2025. On a particularly creative morning, twelve children from the St. Mark kindergarten gather in the back of the library to discover the alphabet in an animal way. Heike Eckert from the city library has prepared an imaginative event to arouse the curiosity of the children. The little guests settle down on colorful seat cushions that are arranged in a semicircle, while large, colorful fabric letters are lined up around them. In the middle a plush koalabar is enthroned that acts as a cool companion.
The event aims to promote understanding of books and letters and increase reading of reading in the children.
