Fistball fever: Start quarterfinals of the German championships!

Karben, Deutschland - On July 12, 2025, the fistball court in Karben, north of Frankfurt, will be the scene of an exciting sporting event: The quarter -final games of the German championships in fistball are on the program. This championship is very special for joy, because it already marks the 100th edition of the German title fights in this dynamic team sport.

In the charming backdrop of Rendel, the best teams of the 1st Bundesliga North and South will compete against each other this Saturday to secure the last four tickets for the highly expected final Four on July 30th and 31st in Dresden. Admission to the exciting matches is only 5 euros, which makes the event a real bargain for families and sports enthusiasts.

The teams and their opportunities

already qualified for the final four:

  • Women: TV Jahn Schneverdingen (north), TSV Calw (south)
  • Men: TSV Pfungstadt (south), TSV Hagen 1860 (north)

For the other preliminary round games, the women and men present themselves in different encounters, which are held at high -class level. In the TV Segnitz women's competition meet the Ohligser TV. While the TV Segnitz, as second in the table of the 2nd Bundesliga Süd, missed the direct promotion, the Ohligser TV ended the season in 3rd place in the north.

In another duel, the European champions from Ahlhorner SV (2nd BL Nord) and TSV Dennach (3rd BL Süd) face each other. Both teams go into the game with a lot of momentum and are well prepared.

the men in focus

It will also be exciting for men: the TV Vaihingen/Enz meets the Berlin TS, as a repetition of last year's quarterfinales that Vaihingen won. The two teams did splendidly this season and are motivated accordingly.

Last but not least, the game between the Leichlinger TV and TV Schweinfurt-Oberndorf will be a real insider tip. The teams know little and it is unclear which team can win the upper hand here.

The supporting program and a sporty atmosphere

The games start at 12:00 p.m. and promise gripping fistball action at the highest level. In addition to sport, the physical well -being is also taken care of: the spectators can look forward to grilled dishes, fresh salads, coffee and cake as well as a selection of drinks.

For everyone who cannot be on site, there is the possibility to follow the games comfortably from home, because the transmission takes place via the Youtube channel of the host, TV Rendel and Faustball Germany.

Faustball itself is a fascinating team sport that combines athletics, precision and spectacular ball campaigns. Two teams with five players each compete against each other on a 50 × 20 meter field. The aim of the game is to prevent the opponents from returning the ball after crossing a two -meter -high network. The games are played in sentences that go up to four for men and up to three winning rates for women.

With this event, the tradition of fistball in Germany is still maintained, and the view of the upcoming World Games 2025 is also not to be overlooked: Both the women and men appear as defending champion in Chengdu. The anticipation for the upcoming games is great and the fans are looking forward to the top -class duels!
