This coming weekend, Eltingen will be transformed into a true beach oasis. The Lyra Leo Beach will take place on June 14th and 15th, 2025 in front of the Eltinger Hof on Hertichstrasse. Organized by the Lyra Leonberg music association, the event offers a relaxed atmosphere suitable for the whole family.
The weekend starts with the traditional tapping of the barrel on Saturday at 4 p.m. In the evening, the band “Dropzone” provides musical entertainment and invites you to celebrate. But that's not all: an ecumenical service takes place on Sunday morning at 10 a.m., followed by musical performances from various music clubs until the evening. So that not only adults get their money's worth, a bouncy castle and tractor rides are offered for younger visitors. An additional highlight is the ice cream truck, which will delight all those with a sweet tooth.

Another exciting event is scheduled for the same weekend in Weil der Stadt. On Saturday evening, the market square is transformed into an open-air stage where the Weiler band Stereometria presents cover versions of rock, blues and funk from 8 p.m. This concert, organized by the Groove Tonight association, is also free. The evening is aimed at all music-loving visitors and promises a colorful experience.
The organizers attach great importance to a safe and pleasant environment for families. Speaking of families: On Sunday, motorcyclists in the area can attend the motorcycle service in Glemseck at 11 a.m. On Friday evening at 6 p.m., history lovers can go on a journey into the 19th century with the midwife Marthe on a historic city tour through Weil der Stadt. Participation costs 7 euros for adults.
