KSG running team from Gerlingen shines at the Leonberg City Run!

KSG running team from Gerlingen shines at the Leonberg City Run!

Leonberg, Deutschland - runner hearts beat faster! The Leonberger City run took place last weekend, which was able to come up with over 40 participants from the KSG running team from Gerlingen. The event was a real festival for running and offered exciting competitions for young and old. There was more hungry for the audience along the route, which led through the old town of Leonberg, the town center of Eltingen and through the modern city center at the Neuköllner Platz. The participants of the KSG running team offered remarkable achievements. Particularly noteworthy is Pia Kircher, who brought a time of 36:42 minutes over the 10 kilometer distance. At the youth races, Anna-Lena Wendling prevailed over 5 kilometers in the U18, although she recently turned 15. In the WU16, Emily Dach can be proud of first place with a time of 5:26 minutes. The youngsters were supported by their teammates, who took excellent places in the WU14: Elena Porcu, Anja Hugel and Clarissa Schlegel made places 2 to 4 and show that the youngsters are promising.

The KSG running team really has a good hand for talents. In the WU12, Clara Schromm was able to win first place with a time of 5:34 minutes. Eric Brehme secured third place in the MU12, while Amalia Schlegel also took third place in the WU12. Felicitas Fichtner won silver in the WU10, and the youngest participant Sophia reached the 12th place as a big running talent. Lara, another young athlete, was able to get third place in the children's run.

The event seamlessly fit into the large number of running events that exist in Germany.
