She fled from Charkiw in 2022 and has been living in Aalen for over three years, where she has not only found a new home, but also a new professional path. How did you succeed? Yuliia came to Germany in spring 2022 - initially it was only a temporary stay. But fate wanted it differently. Her escape led over several stations until she finally found accommodation in Aalen. An older lady and her daughter acted as important reference points and created a family atmosphere for the refugee woman.

In the meantime, Yuliia has been working as a educational force in the city day care center at the stoves in the cooking jump in Unterkochen for over a year.
