Estun Robotics is taking big steps: robot premiere at Automatika 2025!

An exciting chapter for the Schwäbisch Gmünder economic landscape begins: The Estun Robotics Deutschland GmbH has officially registered in the Ulm commercial register (HRB 749988) and is preparing to move into the Bosch building on Lorcher Straße. This not only creates new jobs, but could also strengthen the region as a center for modern robotics.

Managing Director Ralph Christnacht and his team are already looking forward to the new location, which will make it possible to better present their innovative robotics solutions. A highlight is already in the starting blocks: at the upcoming “Automatica” trade fair in Munich, which will take place from June 24th to 27th, 2025, Estun will present an impressive 1000-pound robot. This is the first presentation of their robots in Germany and expectations are high. If you want to experience the latest trends in robotics up close, the Estun stand in Hall A4, stands 311 and 511, is the right place. There will be an opportunity to see the robots in various applications and interact with on-site experts to gain insights into advanced solutions.

Collaboration with experts

Estun Robotics enters into targeted partnerships to increase the safety and efficiency of its products. Together with the Botfellows GmbH and the Fraunhofer IWU, the “Botfellows Dynamic Safety” software was developed, which integrates dynamic safety zones into robot controls. These advances are an example of how Estun is embracing industry best practices to make their robots more user-friendly and safer.

With the aim of making robotics cost-effective and easy-to-use for businesses, Estun also plans to establish a sales and service organization in Europe, complete with local experts who can address the specific needs of European customers. While Estun is already second to industry giants like Fanuc in China, the European market is a next big step in their expansion.

Gerald Mies, CEO of Estun, brings valuable experience from his previous positions at Kuka and Fanuc Europe. He lives with his family in Schwäbisch Gmünd and knows the region's economic challenges first hand. The decision to locate here not only demonstrates entrepreneurial foresight, but also a deep connection to the surrounding area.

Outlook and invitations to the trade fair

The anticipation for the trade fair is already noticeable. Companies and interested parties are invited to visit the Estun Robotics stand and find out about the latest developments in robotics. Anyone who would like to take part can register directly by email to events@estun.com. Estun invites everyone to discover the future of robotics together and explore possible business collaborations.

Overall, Estun Robotics' move to Schwäbisch Gmünd, along with their plans for the future, promises to be an exciting development for the region. Who knows, perhaps Schwäbisch Gmünd will soon become a new hotspot for cutting-edge technologies!
