Wine and pleasure festival in Aalen: Pure enjoyment until June 22nd!
Aalen, Deutschland - A warm and sunny weekend in Aalen is imminent, because the 3rd wine and pleasure festival heralds the culinary high season. Organized by the passionate Tina Morassi, owner of the Grieser wine market, the festival was ceremoniously opened on June 17, 2025 on Aalener Spritzenhausplatz. Morassi took over the tradition of the festival from her late husband Alfons Wiedemann, who has organized the "culinary mile" for many years. Due to the great encouragement of the population, she decided to continue this popular event. A big thank you to Myriam Pfitzer and the inner city club ACA for her support with the organization, while Mayor Bernd Schwarzendorfer brought the greetings from the mayor and local council to strengthen the festive spirit.
With temperatures up to 30 degrees, the opening day was well attended. Numerous visitors came to enjoy the fine wines and regional delicacies at 6 p.m. On the pleasure mile, 24 exquisite wines from all over the world are waiting to be tasted. In addition, five local top restaurateurs present their specialties: the Waldstube Eichenhof from Rohrwang, L’Osteria from Hirschbach, the Croatian Restaurant Aadria, The Duke’s from Ellwangen and the Aalen Café Schieber.
a festival for all senses
The organizer has proven a good hand, so that guests have many opportunities in the next few days to experience the culinary offers. On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the festival will be open until 8 p.m., while the pleasure mile attracts until 11 p.m. or midnight during the remaining days. The sunny weather forecast makes the hearts of wine fans beat faster - a stroke of luck for a festival that is also a permanent institution for many locals.
Not only wine and good food are on the program. Current trends in gastronomy show that vegetable alternatives and sustainable concepts are increasingly in focus. According to the food expert Hanni Rützler, who works in cooperation with the future institute, the catering is increasingly being emphasized in vegan and vegetarian options. The trend is towards "snackification", in which small, high -quality snacks are preferred. This development represents a challenge for restaurateurs to adapt their offer accordingly and to respond flexibly to the needs of the guests. This shows that Aalen is well positioned to meet the current catering trends and at the same time celebrate the local specialties. This is also reflected in the exhibitors of the wine and pleasure festival that attach great importance to high-quality and sustainable products.
Visit the wine and pleasure festival in Aalen and enjoy the variety of exquisite wines and culinary delights- the opportunity to discover new tastes and celebrate in a convivial atmosphere should not miss out. The festival not only promises culinary delights, but also a platform for exchange about current gastronomic trends.Further information can be found in the reports of Schwäbische Post and Schwäbische.de , as well as the latest catering trends on Gastro-Marktplatz .
