Natz-Schabs, Italien - The 1st FC Heidenheim 1846 is located in the summer training camp in Natz-Schabs, South Tyrol. From 11th to July 19, 2025, the team, led by head coach Frank Schmidt, is preparing for the new season. The club's quarters are in the cozy Hotel Jonathan, not far from Brixen, where the players find optimal conditions.

The first impressions are known to be important. On July 11th at 1 p.m., the team reached the sports zone Liegen, where the first training session was already on the program after a short journey. In the evening there was a warm welcome from a local brass band, which caused a special atmosphere. With such a beautiful surroundings and the hospitality in South Tyrol, the start of the preparation can only be promising.

The players have two artificial turf pitches with floodlights and a fitness room in the sports zone. The location of the hotel, which offers an idyllic setting for the training content, is particularly attractive. Players and trainers benefit from the positive atmosphere and the excellent conditions.

Unfortunately, the team has to do without some players. Thomas Keller fights with a band injury on the ankle and is currently completing a rehabilitation program in Munich. Marvin Pieringer is located in the phase of advanced training after his surgery on the ankle. To add the squad, Felix Mark, Luke Spranger and Yannik Wagner were invited to the training camp.
