Successes for TSV Laupheim's judo talents: placements and fighting spirit required!

The youth department of TSV Laupheim is making positive headlines! At the Baden-Württemberg U13 individual championships on October 12th in Kirchberg, the young judoka were full of enthusiasm at the start. With a great performance and remarkable results, the fighters were able to prove that they are anything but fighting a losing battle. The Swabian newspaper reports on the fights that took place and highlights the athletes' achievements.

Emilia Juhas particularly caught the eye: she won three times in the weight class up to 44 kg and thus secured second place in the final. Therese Pfeil (over 57 kg) also delivered a strong show and took second place after a thrilling final against Petra Knezevic from Ulm. Herbert Ibach, the coach of TSV Laupheim, was visibly proud of his protégés and emphasized how important such competitions are for the personal development of the young judoka.

Successful placements and promising talents

Artem Kodyk (over 55 kg) also impressed with a solid performance in the semifinals and took third place. Despite a win and good fights, Samuel Juhas (up to 31 kg) ultimately had to settle for fifth place. Alma and Therese Pfeil each fought for 5th place, while Milan Kohler put in a remarkable performance after turning around his opening battle from behind to also take third place.

The next challenges are already on the agenda. TSV Laupheim is taking part in the South German U15 Championships in Pforzheim. Emilia Juhas will be challenged again there and will meet, among others, the Bavarian champion. An exciting weekend awaits everyone involved!

Conclusion and outlook

The TSV Laupheim judo department looks back on successful weekends and is looking forward to the experiences that the competitions bring with them. In addition to sporting success, such events are immensely important for team building and the personal development of the athletes. It will be interesting to see what successes the next competitions will bring.

A big compliment goes to the coaches and parents who support the judoka on their journey. Because as the saying goes? "Together we are strong!" And the young judoka from TSV Laupheim show this again and again in an impressive way!
