Hockenheim starts through: holiday program 2025 for children is waiting!

In Hockenheim, the 2025 summer vacation program is in the starting blocks and it promises to be an exciting time for the younger ones! From July 1, 2025, children and adolescents can look forward to a diverse offer, which is organized by the city's children's and youth office in close cooperation with clubs, companies and social institutions as well as churches. The event is aimed at all children between the ages of 6 and 14, with special programs for teenagers between 10 and 14 years of age.

Around 50 events are planned that range from exciting excursions to creative handicrafts to sporting activities and nature experiences. There will also be insights behind the scenes of various facilities. Of course, children with Handicap are also welcome, with a consultation with the organizers recommended so that everyone can spend a good time.

An important date for all interested parents is the 29. June 2025 , at 10 p.m., because registrations must be made up to this point. Registration takes place easily online, simply click on the desired events and reserve the places. A useful tip: If you want to take part with friends, you should make sure that you state identical priorities at the event. If an event is overbooked, a lottery procedure decides on the allocation of space. The participants will be informed by email on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, about whether they have got a place.

But the holiday program is not the only way to become active. The children's and youth office also offers various campaigns for kids and teens throughout the year. During school time, open offers such as the girls 'meeting and the boys' meeting are available, both of which take place in the former school center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Here the young people meet from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. For older people, an open meeting is set up in the Juz youth center on Aquadrom, which is open from Tuesday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
