Forest walk: Art hits emotions in the Mosbach district office!

Mosbach, Deutschland - The Mosbacher district office currently presents a remarkable art exhibition by the photo artist Johannes Höller entitled "Forest walk". The exhibition was officially opened on Tuesday evening, with the district administrator Dr. Achim Brötel gave an introductory speech. In his work, Höller addresses the positive effects of forest bathing and the interaction between humans and nature. The combination of photographs of expressive wooden pieces and sculptural wooden objects that enable a deeper examination of emotions such as anger, grief and fear are particularly impressive.

The musical accompaniment of the opening took over Wolfgang Bender and Matthias Nonnenmacher with their forest horns, so that visitors could immerse themselves in a harmonious ambience. Höller, who enjoyed training in free art and artistic photography in Saarbrücken, would like to offer blind people a new perspective with his work by combining photos with braille.

about the exhibition

The exhibition runs under the motto of perception and beach goods. A highlight are Höller's photographs that were created inspired by a garbage mountain in Morocco, where he was confronted with the sad fate of drowned refugees as part of a refugee project in Greece in 2015. His reflection on the perception of terpenes in the forest and their influence on human emotions is also appealing. The works can be seen on the first floor of the district office and invite you to the visual and emotional argument.

in the Neckar-Odenwald district, where the degree of forest is 42.1%, the forest not only plays a decisive role as a retreat, but also as a significant economic factor. Höller's exhibition is to be visited until October 24th, whereby the regular opening times are on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and on Mondays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

music students on success course

The Glarus music school warmly congratulates its students on these great achievements. Such successes play an important role in the regional cultural scene and show that young artists are not only on the rise not only in the visual art, but also in music.

This is to be noted: whether in the forest with Höller's emotional photographs or in the concert halls with the talented musicians, the culture in the region flourishes and offers something for every taste.
