An exciting event for curious families is imminent! On June 29, 2025, a very special researcher and explanation of the exploitation of Freudenberg-Rauenberg will take place. From 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., everyone is invited to experiment together and discover the world of natural sciences. Whether playing with soap bubbles or dealing with colors and water - everyone gets their money's worth here!
The offer is aimed at families who want to learn more about science and technology with their children in a playful way. In advance there is a common hands -on breakfast for the participants, so that you can also dive into research and discover in a convivial atmosphere. However, a registration is requested by June 25, 2025. Interested parties can send an email to info@junge-forscher-mt.de and enter their name, telephone number, number of people and the age of the children. Especially highlight of the event will be the mascot: Oli Sidney, the cleverly coala of the area, will accompany the children on their research adventure. The event is organized by the Young researcher Main-Tauber e.V. , an Initiative that is committed to promoting natural sciences, technology and IT for schoolchildren. Since its foundation in 2010, the committed members under the patron Willi Weitzel have been committed to ensuring that children and young people are enthusiastic about MINT subjects with exciting projects. The initiative offers numerous free school projects and further training that aim to arouse interest in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology. The Mint-funding is a central concern to counteract the shortage of skilled workers in these areas. Children in the early age explore their surroundings with curiosity, which is an important basis for their future learning. The course for a successful future is often set very early. Studies show that the urge to research in adolescence is often lost, Partly because in regular school lessons there is little space for researching learning.
