Regional Day in Bad Rappenau: A festival for Heilbronn-Franken!

Bad Rappenau, Deutschland - on Sunday, July 13, 2025, Bad Rappenau is hosting the 26th regional day in the Heilbronn district. The Citizens' Initiative Pro region Heilbronn-Franconia expects up to 15,000 visitors who want to experience the variety of the region. Mayor Sebastian Frei is looking forward to the numerous guests and the opportunity to present the attractiveness of the region. This major event will take place in Bad Rappenau after almost 20 years after the city took over the direction in 2006.

Around 70 exhibitors from the areas of tourism, culinary and business show impressively what Heilbronn-Franken has to offer. This initiative should not only show the diversity of the region, but also strengthen the sense of we. The aim is to promote regional awareness and to support the growing together of the various locations in the region, as can be found on the Pro-Region website.

A wide supporting program is planned, which includes music, hands -on activities and local stories. A highlight is the SWR series “Dialect and Music”, which will take place from 2:45 p.m. in the Martin Luther House under the moderation of Ivonne Schowtka. Entry to this event is free and invites all age groups to actively participate.

The musical appearance of the dialect band "Gradweg" from Neckarbischofsheim, which will create their own dialect texts, will create the mood. Both children and adults can look forward to an extensive stage program that has something ready for everyone.

Homeland researchers Erich Schuh will present stories about the healing brine, the dialect and the history of the spa town. His explanations also include the "Dictionary of the Rappenau dialect", which underlines the importance of the regional language.

Friedlinde Gurr-Hirsch from the citizens' initiative emphasizes current developments in the areas of health, nature and parks that are intended to further improve the quality of life in Bad Rappenau. Such initiatives help to ensure that the region remains attractive not only for locals, but also for tourists and new citizens. This is also evident in the long -term goals that were developed in the project of the knowledge network regional culture, which, for example, examines and promotes cultural participation in rural areas.

The regional day is not only a platform for local companies and craftsmen, but also a way to strengthen social cohesion and cultural awareness in the region. On this day, visitors can take the good opportunity to network and to celebrate the cooperation in Heilbronn-Franconia.

In 2025, the event will take place again in Bad Mergentheim, while Eppingen will be the next host of the regional day in 2027. Here the organizers point out the importance that this day plays a central role for the people in the region and serves as an annual highlight to celebrate and promote cultural identity.
