Citizens' Involving for a Healthy City: Your voice counts on July 9th!
In Bad Rappenau, an exciting event is in the house: Am 09. July 2025 are the citizens cordially invited to give their voice to the "healthy city/healthy community" in the certification process. The event takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in front of the town hall on Kirchplatz 4. Mayor Sebastian Frei , the municipal council as well as the city administration and the health department of the Heilbronn district have accessed to actively participate. The goal? An improvement in the quality of life in Bad Rappenau!
How can you make the city healthier? You don't just ask yourself in Bad Rappenau, but everywhere in Germany. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the definition of "healthy municipalities" was determined in 1982. Accordingly, health should be a central concern of the municipality and integrated action should be more important. The certification process should help to contribute health -promoting activities in everyday local life, which is supported by the participation of the citizens.

Particular attention is paid to the role of health authorities in urban development.
a process with a long -term goal
The support of the Heilbronn health office and other municipalities as part of the certification process is of the utmost importance. Bad Rappenau is piloted together with four other counties in Baden-Württemberg to find innovative ways to promote health in urban areas. At the end of the process is the certificate, which is awarded after successful application by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration Baden-Württemberg.
