Scandinavian design conquers Stuttgart: New hotel in the Europaviertel!

Stuttgart, Deutschland - The aspiring hotel chain Scandic Hotels plans to open a new hotel in Stuttgart in December 2025. With the Scandic Stuttgart Europaviertel, the portfolio in Germany is now expanded to eight hotels with a total of 2,635 rooms. This re -establishment follows a long -term, sales -based rental agreement with AXA Investment Managers and enables Scandic to further expand its presence in one of the largest cities in Germany. Stuttgart, known as an important financial center in Europe with a strong automotive and technology industry, also offers a growing startup scene and a steadily growing hotel market that is funded by tourists and business travelers.

The architectural concept of the new location comes from the renowned Swedish office Doos Architects, which had previously been responsible for the Scandic Berlin Potsdamer Platz. The design is intended to combine Scandinavian design traditions with the local flair Stuttgarts. The focus is on functional, aesthetic and emotionally appealing rooms. The guideline of the design is: "Rooted in Place, Wrapped in Warmth". This credo includes the use of natural materials such as wood, stone, brick and steel, which give the building a unique feel.

a well thought -out design concept

The Scandic Stuttgart Europaviertel will have 173 comfortable rooms and generous public areas. The choice of color and material is based on the architectural tradition and the cityscape of Stuttgart, so that the coloring and shapes of the interiors reflect the motif "urban stable". Textile elements of Nordic designers, including Märta Mås-Fjetterström and Evelina Kroon, contribute to the special atmosphere of the hotel.

Culinary experiences are also taken care of: the restaurant area leaves nothing to be desired with 125 seats and convinces with clear lines and large window areas that ensure light and width. A stylish lounge with bar and cozy seat niches will also invite you to linger.

modern conference options

Another important part of the hotel are the conference opportunities. The event area offers space for up to 150 people and includes eight light -flooded conference rooms that are ideal for meetings and events. In order to meet modern demands, technical upgrades and sustainability -related investments are also planned for the upcoming renovation, so that the hotel is operated in an environmentally certified manner according to the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.

With this step,

Scandic Hotels not only shows a good hand for expanding your presence in Germany, but also your commitment to sustainable practices and modern design. Stuttgart can be happy - the Scandic Stuttgart Europaviertel will certainly be an attractive place for travelers and locals alike.
