Winter playground in Miedelsbach opens again: fun for the whole family!
The winter playground in the Protestant Christ Church in Miedelsbach has reopened its doors and offers families a welcome opportunity to meet up and have fun during the cold season. Christiane Fauth warmly welcomes the little visitors and their companions when they are greeted at the church door. This initiative is important to provide children and parents with an alternative to the often inhospitable weather conditions and early darkness. This means everyone can enjoy time together in a cozy atmosphere without having to deal with the cold and wet outdoors. According to ZVW, the community is pleased to be able to offer the space for this family encounter, which is particularly popular at the moment.
The next dates for the winter playground are scheduled for February and March 2025. Groups can use the various offers on Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Children of preschool age, i.e. from 0 to 6 years old, are expressly welcome, while older siblings are also allowed to take part. Christuskirche offers a colorful program with various activities that are intended to stimulate both creative and motor skills.
A variety of activities for the little ones
What exactly can the little guests expect? The winter playground has a variety of attractions: from a bouncy castle and a ball pit to a slide and climbing and wall bars. If you're more into quiet activities, you can try out Lego and wooden building blocks on the play mat or make yourself comfortable in the cozy corner with a good book. A craft table and face painting are also on the program. There is also a dress-up box and a crumb corner for extra fun.
In the café atmosphere of the Christ Church, warm drinks and snacks are also offered to ensure the physical well-being of the visitors. It is important that each group brings at least one accompanying adult. In addition, all participants should bring ABS/stopper socks or slippers to keep the play area safe.
The duty of supervision lies in the hands of the parents or accompanying adults. This should ensure that the children are always well supervised while they spend their time in this imaginative play paradise. Organizers and the community hope that many families will take advantage of this opportunity to socialize and have a good time together.
The winter playground in the Protestant Christ Church is more than just a place to play. It's a communal experience, and as the saying goes: There's something going on! Take the opportunity to create unforgettable moments with your children.
