Bietigheim Para-Darter inspire despite technology problems and heat!

The first tournament of the paradise in Bietigheim caused exciting moments despite a bumpy start. The event should actually start at 10 a.m., but the organizers had to postpone two hours due to technical difficulties. Finally the tournament was opened at 12 p.m., and the anticipation for the sporting event was quickly back among the participants and spectators.

In the category Inclusio, three darter competed with hearing disabilities from the disabled sports fans Bietigheim. Kirilo Iola had to give up in the group phase, while Peter Schöneich made it to the round of 16. The performance of Michael Knöller, who came to the quarter -finals, was even more impressive, but lost 2: 3 against the later finalist Tommy Zanko. Despite the high temperatures, the participants rated the event as a clear success. Schöneich noticed that they have made many new acquaintances and that the tournament forms a good basis for future events. The event has underlined how important the visibility of the darts of darts for people with disabilities is about whom little has so far been discussed in Germany. This reaffirms the knowledge of darts vagues, which highlight the meaning and integration of darts for people with physical handicap, especially in view of the different impairment groups that are classified by the World Paradarts.

Inclusion in darts sport

There are two main categories in the world of paradise: Classic and Compris. The Classic category includes people with different physical restrictions, while the commris group is intended for people with a severely disabled person's ID or the corresponding authority signature. This division is important because darts primarily requires mental strength, so that the physical requirements are usually rather low. The flexible set of rules, which enables players with and without handicap, should be emphasized. In the case of sitting players, the Bullseye height is 1.37 meters, in contrast to the 1.73 meters for standing participants. These adjustments have contributed to the fact that darts in Germany has found paths to enable inclusion, while in many other sports it often falls by the wayside.

The interest in darts is growing continuously, which has a positive effect on the professionalization of sport. Nevertheless, there are also challenges here, especially with regard to the integration of paradarts into society. Barrier-free venues are essential, especially for wheelchair users, and the availability of suitable soft-darting machines is difficult. Darts vagues attaches great importance to the fact that darts clubs deal more actively with the topic of inclusive darts in order to promote equal opportunities and encourage paradise, to bring themselves into the community and to represent their concerns. Despite the existing obstacles, the development in darts is encouraging.

social importance of sport

Sport not only has a positive impact on physical fitness, but also on psychological well -being. Common sporting activities promote acceptance and tolerance and help to reduce prejudices, as can be seen from the knowledge of the Federal Center for Political Education. The inclusion of people with disabilities in sport is a complex topic in Germany that is influenced by various factors. There is still a clear need for action here in order to actually make a comprehensive participation.

The organized disability sport in Germany has a long history that goes back to 1888 when the first deaf sports club was founded. The development of the disability sport was particularly advanced after the world wars by the large number of wounded soldiers. However, despite these progress, there are still considerable efforts to enable equivalence in sport and create an inclusive society. The current event in Bietigheim could represent a small but important step in this way.
