Festival di Enztown: democrazia e diversità celebra a Bietubeim-Bissingen!

What's going on in Bietigheim-Bissingen? The eagerly awaited Enztown Festival will take place on July 26th. Questo evento, che si presenta come libero e senza barriere, è organizzato da volontari impegnati e ha un obiettivo chiaro: fissare un segno di democrazia, diversità e coesione. The venue behind the Musikverein Bissingen promises an inviting atmosphere in the open air. The idea for the event originated in the winter of 2024 when former members of "Rock against Right" came together to start a new project. Daniel Behrens, uno degli organizzatori, sottolinea: "Facciamo una società aperta" e vogliamo attirare l'attenzione sull'esclusione e l'intolleranza al festival.

Visitors can look forward to a varied program. Oltre alla musica di artisti locali come Good Men Gone Bad, meravigliosi gatti e popgretel, sono inoltre previste attività creative con le mani e gli stand informativi. The organizers estimate that between 600 and 1000 people could come, with the weather conditions playing an important role here. Own food and drinks can be brought along, but glass bottles are not allowed. Local food stands ensure culinary care, which offer a variety of food from Balkan grill to vegan dishes.

The Enztown Festival is not just a music event, but rather an expression of a common commitment to agitation and exclusion. Many groups from the region that work for peaceful cooperation will actively participate. Among the live acts there are not only the artists already mentioned, but also the FKA Crew & Dekafu & Funky Ferns and Fairies with Fangs. This variety of performances should underline that a colorful society must be strengthened.

The festival is financed by donations and a small promotion of the city. The organizers hope to complete the event without loss. If a financial surplus is achieved, the chances are good that the festival can take place again next year, maybe even with larger artists. A step in this direction would make it possible to continue to pursue the common vision of diversity and democracy. So a look into the future, at an event that is already firmly anchored in the schedule in Bietigheim-Bissingen.
