Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Deutschland - Leinfelden-Echterdingen becomes a bicycle stronghold again! The international “City Cycling” campaign will take place for the tenth time from 1 to 21 July 2025. The goal of this initiative, which is supported by Environmental Federal Agency , is the promotion of climate-friendly mobility. Here, all citizens involved can challenge themselves to cover as many paths as possible by bike in 21 days and collect kilometers.
Whether in a team with friends, colleagues, at school or in the club - everyone can participate. This campaign not only offers a great way to improve fitness, but also to reduce the noise pollution and exhaust gases in the city. In addition, cycling significantly increases the quality of life in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. And participation is worth it: there are prices for all participants!

A special highlight will be the bike tour under the direction of Mayor Otto Ruppaner on Friday, July 18, at 5 p.m. The route leads through the urban area and offers exciting information on topics and developments that move Leinfelden-Echterdingen. The tour does not last longer than two hours and ends with a cozy end where the exchange will not be neglected.
