The weekend in Böblingen and Sindelfingen promises to be colorful, lively and full of highlights. From June 12 to 15, 2025, the region will look at this International street festival in Sindelfingen, which this year celebrates a true festival of cultures. It is not only an annual highlight, but also an opportunity for thousands of visitors to meet and celebrate together.
It starts on Friday at 7 p.m. when the official celebrations begin in Sindelfingen city center. Until Sunday, guests have the opportunity to enjoy numerous international cuisine and various musical performances. This year the festival is all about “peaceful and tolerant with each other and getting to know each other better while celebrating together”. The motto says it all! In addition to the classic stage program, there is also a colorful supporting program with shooting galleries and bouncy castles, which will particularly appeal to younger visitors.
Live music and after parties
Musical entertainment is well provided. On Friday the band “RaDiUs” will delight the audience, while on Saturday and Sunday the “ROYAL SONESTA JAZZBAND” will perform. The after-party at “Ristorante Casa Vecchia – zum Hirsch” with DJ Volkanoize on Friday and Saturday from 11 p.m. also promises to be a hit.
On Saturday from 9 p.m. the “Theo Live” event will also take place in the Böblingen sports and music bar “Freddchen”, where rock, blues and funk will take the stage. Entry is free! A good reason to shake a leg and celebrate the weekend properly.
Hikes and fundraisers
For those who prefer to take it easy, the Sindelfingen Black Forest Association is organizing a guided hike to the 28 meter high water tower in Böblingen on Saturday. The meeting point is at 12:30 p.m. at the Böblingen Goldberg S-Bahn station. After about 1.5 hours of walking, during which you can really enjoy nature, you will stop at a beer garden. Registration at the SWV office is required.
The charity event “Art Meets Cow” will also take place on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Zehntscheuer in Bondorf. The “Mensch fair Tier” association has prepared an exciting stage program with artists such as Michael Panzer and “Doowop-Mädla”. A good hand is also required here to bring art and animal welfare together.
