Voltigation team from Krumbach: Triumph and challenges in Ehingen!
The vaulting team from the Krumbach riding and driving club recently caused a sensation at two tournaments in Baden-Württemberg. On May 24th we went to Sindelfingen and on June 1st to Ehingen, an exciting experience for the young athletes who went to their appearances with a lot of vigor. On arrival to Sindelfingen, however, there was a small breakdown: the horse Socarron did not want to go to the trailer, which delayed the descent. Despite this hurdle, the team was the last to enter the examination circle and courageously stood up to the competition.
Natalie Frick, Emma Fischer, Maris Metzler, Celine Campos, Romina Rist, Franka Popp and Emma Schwarz competed in Sindelfingen. Even if the performance did not quite meet expectations and there were some mistakes in the mandatory and freestyle circulation, the team was ultimately able to get the 3rd place. Particularly gratifying: The horse Socce received the prize for the best horse in its category, which underlines the valuable cooperation between vaulters and the horse. Longen guide Selina accompanied the team together with Socarron through both tournaments, an important support for the young vaulters.
a victory in Ehingen
The excitement in Ehingen was just as big in Ehingen, because here another team member competed: Emma, Maris, Celine, Romina, Franka and Emma secured the 1st place. However, the competition fell into an unexpected heat wave, followed by sudden rain, which made the framework difficult. However, the team mastered the compulsory exercise properly and showed a strong performance in the freestyle, which earned them a satisfactory assessment to the delight of the audience and supervisors. The vaulters agree: there is still room for improvement in terms of improvement.preparation for the championship
