The academy, which unfolds during the summer vacation, offers a colorful mix of lectures and workshops that deal with natural sciences, technology, history and media. Almost all events take place in the Volkshochschule Ettlingen , with additional highlights in other local facilities.
The starting shot is given on August 1, when Dieter Error with his entertaining lecture "A lot of noise about nothing - or: how to really make noise" welcomes the participants: on the inside. Apart from the theory, the children can also become active: instruments such as drums and flutes (but no electronic) are expressly permitted. Also in the loud and colorful sense, the exercise continues on August 5 when the workshop "My robot learns dancing" for girls from cosima Schmauch and Helga Gabler is led.

The EKSA is characterized by its varied variety of topics. On August 6, science & technology gGmbH will present two entertaining science shows: "Material ingenious" and "Fin on the trail of the invisible". In addition, Klemens Gintner on August 7th will speak about the exciting development of the bicycle, while Ernestina Dietrich on August 12th illuminates the mathematics of Egyptian architecture.
Another highlight of the program is the media workshop with Felix Wnuk , which takes place on August 15th in the SWR studio Karlsruhe. Here the children can take a look behind the scenes of the media world. The planetarium Karlsruhe will also offer a workshop on the sun, earth and moon on August 27, and on September 4th, Walter Spieß will discuss the question: "Can the earth feed all people?".

The academy not only offers knowledge transfer, but also incentives to participate.
