Severe weather warning for Baden-Württemberg: Heat, lightning and flooding threaten!

Baden-Baden, Deutschland - The weather in Baden-Württemberg will be turbulent next weekend. The German Weather Service (DWD) raises the alarm and warns of violent storms with lightning strikes and heavy rain. The temperatures could even rise to up to 35 degrees on Saturday, accompanied by high humidity. Such conditions are made for potential thunderstorms that first appear in the mountain country and could spread over the weekend. Another warning applies to Sunday when the temperatures remain over 20 degrees - from Basel via Karlsruhe to Mannheim. In other parts of the country, on the other hand, waste is threatened to be tolerable 15 to 18 degrees.

On Sunday, a cold front moves from the northwest to the southeast and promises tremendous thunderstorm development. According to the meteorologists, a flash line of up to 100 kilometers could form, with the risk of heavy rain, which can reach up to 40 liters per square meter. In Upper Swabia, up to 60 liters are even possible in a short time, which could lead to flooding and floods. With all of this, however, the residents do not have to worry about tornados - their education is unlikely to classify, but fall gusts could cause additional risks with high wind speeds.
