New bathing regulations at Laguna: Safety & comfort for everyone!
This year's swimming season in the region has a lot to offer! The Laguna bathing water treatment plant in Weil am Rhein, a popular meeting place for sun worshipers and water fun enthusiasts, meets all legal requirements and goes beyond them, as publishing house Jaumann. Hygiene is not emphasized as an argument at Laguna; instead, the safety and health of guests is our top priority. This is also reflected in the recent adjustment of the bathing regulations.
What's new? The dress code has been simplified to create a more comfortable atmosphere. Headwear permitted must comply with regulations, while men are welcome in form-fitting swimwear. Synthetic fiber T-shirts are also permitted as long as they are not street clothing. These changes are intended to meet the different needs of bathers, regardless of whether they are children, recreational swimmers or religious bathers.
A new togetherness in the outdoor pool
In order to respond to the employees' request and the tense atmosphere within the team, the initiative was taken to change the rules. The aim is to provide a pleasant bathing experience without creating conflicts. This year, for the first time, there is a security service in the outdoor pool, which will also be evaluated for its effectiveness after the first few weeks of vacation.
Did you know that in Austria the swimming pool hygiene regulations require operators to issue comprehensive swimming regulations? This must be displayed in a conspicuous place in the bathroom and guests should have access to this information before purchasing the ticket. This ensures that all bathers are informed about the applicable rules, which not only serve safety but also health, as WKO states.
In addition, the water quality of bathing waters in Austria is strictly monitored. The district administrative authorities classify these waters, which ensures that 99.6% of the bathing waters meet the quality requirements, as Social Ministry emphasizes. A classified bathing water is a part of surface water that allows pure bathing fun and does not require a permanent bathing ban.
The swimming season in Austria runs from June 15th to August 31st and invites everyone to enjoy the cool waters. Safety is a top priority, and with the new regulations and implementation of bathing regulations, guests can look forward to a wonderful summer at Laguna. The anticipation is palpable and hopes for a relaxed atmosphere are high!
