40 years of humant technology: Innovation for deaf people from Märkt conquers the world!

Weil am Rhein, Deutschland - Soon new standards will be set in hearing technology, by a company from the region that has been in service for the deaf and hearing impaired for four decades. We are talking about Humantechnik, a family business in Märkt, which was founded in 1985 by Gerhard Sicklinger in Laupheim. Just a year later, Sicklinger launched the innovative writer “Textel Compact” that paved the way for the company's success. In 1989 Humantechnik moved to Weil am Rhein, where Gerhard Sicklinger entrusted the technical management to his cousin Karl-Heinz Sicklinger.

The development and production of assistance systems has been very important in Markt for years. There are currently 35 specialists in the company's own rooms and are even 80. Humanizing technology attaches particular importance to the training promotion of young industrial clerks and electronics technicians. "We have a good hand for the support of young talents," explains Karl-Heinz Sicklinger. The company's products are available in over 30 countries, which is proof of their global presence.

The Humantechnik product range includes everything from lightning and vibration alarms to telephone hearing amplifiers to the popular TV hearing systems, which, thanks to the new Bluetooth technology, provide outstanding services. Conventional systems such as induction loops are often criticized for their restricted audio quality and high costs.

"With Auracast we can not only improve the technical quality, but also promote access to audio offers. We want to make hearing pleasant and barrier -free for many people," emphasizes Lorena Sicklinger, who will soon take on a larger leadership role in the company.

These make it possible to follow talks about smartphones or tablets, which makes everyday life much easier. There are now also functions for mobile end devices such as adjustable volume control, visual notifications and even vibration alarms that improve the user experience.
