A celebration of music

At the highlight of the event, the musicians played “Twin Ports Overture” by Marc Camphouse as a compulsory piece and “Give Us This Day” by David Maslanka as a self-selected piece. The performance lasted 30 minutes and was judged by a three-person jury. The performance of the wind philharmonic band was awarded the rating “participated with outstanding success”, which underlines the high quality of their performance. Participation from the region

Other music clubs from the Forchheim district were also there, including Heroldsbach and Neunkirchen am Brand. The large group of participants of around 15,000 musicians from 450 groups from all over Germany shows the high level of commitment and the lively brass music scene in the region.
