750 years of Waldstetten: cheering with moves and big concerts!

A small place, a big event! The 750-year history of the community is duly celebrated in Waldstetten. This weekend, the overall defense fire brigade is organizing a unique festival weekend that makes the hearts of all visitors: made faster. As the Swabian Post Diverse program.

The start with “One” on July 11th and DJ Ötzi on July 12th, for which all tickets are already sold out. A real highlight for the music lovers among us! On July 12th there is the big family and children's festival, which starts at 12 p.m. with exciting performances and games. The parade begins at 10.30 a.m. from Rechbachweg and moves through the main street to the outdoor pool. Finally, on July 13, the district fire brigade day continues, in which a festival service in the St. Laurentius Church will take place at 8.30 a.m.

The program shows that the fun is not neglected for the whole family. The physical well -being will be taken care of in the marquee from 11 a.m., and the traditional white sausage breakfast is waiting for the hungry guests. The big parade on Sunday starts at 1 p.m. at the town hall and leads directly to the festival area.

The organizers also thought of safe arrival. Cars can be parked in several parking spaces: meadow festival car park, the area opposite the Stuifenhalle and at the Lidl branch in Bettringer Strasse. Stops in front of the Stuifenhalle and the PTS system technology are available for arrival by bus. It is particularly exciting that the road closures at the Kreisel Straßdorfer/Hauptstraße are lifted during the festival due to the redesign.

However, guests should keep an eye on the temporary road closures: on Saturday the Rechbachweg from 10.30 a.m. and the main street from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. On Sunday, Wolfsgasse, Adlerstraße and Bussard and Finkenweg are tight from 11 a.m., although the moving route cannot be passed until 4 p.m. The outdoor pool will also be closed up to and including July 15th because of the firm operation.

The district fire brigade day is not only an opportunity to honor the successful work of the volunteer fire brigade, but also an important building block in fire protection history in Baden-Württemberg.
