Right -wing extremist agitation against CSD: Stuttgart and Pforzheim on alert!

Pforzheim, Deutschland - There is currently an charged climate in Baden-Württemberg, especially around the planned Christopher Street Day (CSD) events. The Instagram account "stuttgart_revolte_2", which according to Esslinger Zeitung with right -wing extremist content and a profile picture that resembles the group "Pforzheim Revolt", calls for protests against the CSD in Stuttgart. This event is planned for July 26, 2025, and the account has already made a mood against the Queere event.

The right -wing extremist group "Störtrupp Süd" positioned itself with a counter -demonstration at the CSD in Pforzheim, which is due to take place on June 14, 2025. According to Stuttgarter News await you about 150 participants and represent "traditional values" in social networks and describe early childhood sex education as problematic.

counter -demonstrations and local reactions

Pforzheim's mayor Peter Boch has made it clear that he stands for tolerance and social cohesion. He keeps against the right -wing extremists and emphasizes the cosmopolitan orientation of the city. A prohibition of the counter -demonstration is not sought because such measures are often considered not very promising.

Caleb Davis, the organizer of the CSD, has more confidence in the positive response of the queer community and hopes for numerous participants. He reminds that the first CSD in Pforzheim was protested and calls for a strong sign of diversity.

the right -wing extremist context

State Constitution Protection has both the Instagram account and the "Sturm Trupp Süd". As the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution states in a current report, right-wing extremist groups use the LGBTQ+movement as an enemy image to spread its racist and nationalist ideologies. The topic of queer hostility is a "core topic of the right -wing extremist scene". The protection of the constitution also observes that queer anti-agitation has increased on the Internet, especially during the Pride Month and the CSD events. This is also evident as a mobilization tool to address young people and win it for their ideology.

This challenge is not new: Last year there were numerous interference against CSD events nationwide, and this strategy seems to be established. The violent groups and classic right -wing extremists recruit participants to spread their messages in public and to mobilize them against diversity. It is all the more important that the CSD and the Queere Community hold together and stand up for their rights to set a sign against this type of intolerance.

This is how the situation remains tense, while many are preparing for the upcoming CSD celebrations. The queer community in Baden-Württemberg is determined to set a sign of diversity and tolerance in Pforzheim and cannot be intimidated by right slogans.
