Günther Weber presents exciting life stories with Brösel!

In the charming region between Ulm and Sigmaringen, more precisely at the Lorettohof in Zwiefalten, Günther Weber-better known as the "Loretto baker"-made a name for itself. Born in a family of bakery in 1954, Weber captured his love for baking trade in numerous stories. Now he brings a book onto the market with his latest work "Brösel - a life before and after the wood oven" that literally melts on the tongue after stories. As the Swabian reports , no recipes are presented in this book, but autobiographical stories and fictional stories are presented.

Weber has campaigned for publication at Molino Verlag in Schwäbisch Hall. What can the readers expect? A colorful mix of stages of life: childhood memories, experiences in Africa and Central America as well as the exciting history of the founding of his organic bakery together with his brother. Personal moments, such as the birth of his daughter Antonia and his experience in retirement, also find their place here. In a “letter to the readers”, Weber makes it clear that not everything in his book is true. In addition to autobiographical stories, fictional elements are also mixed.

peculiarities of the book

The book, which will be presented on June 21 as part of a reading at the Loretto Hof, has a price of 18 euros and an ISBN of 978-3-948696-92-4. Incidentally, the proceeds of the event will go to the Riedlingen city library - a great opportunity to enjoy literature and at the same time to support local culture. The reading is accompanied by the Rottumtaler alphorn players who ensure the right musical accompaniment.

The Lorettohof is not only a place where you can find stories, but also a bakery that traditionally bakes in the wood oven. As can be read on stipvisites , Weber opens its shops from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays from 2pm to 6pm. He uses the winter months to advance his books, because his first book, "braid with flashing lights", tells of his experiences and influences from different countries such as Ethiopia or Nicaragua and also contains eleven recipes.

a life for the baker's trade

Thanks to his commitment to the bakery trade, Günther Weber not only told Günther Weber, but also conveyed a feeling for tradition and craft.

For everyone who is interested in a life full of anecdotes and aromatic baking art, Weber's new publication could be a captivating reading. So, don't forget to stop by on June 21st and to be touched by the stories!
