Franziska Kipper-Schreyer will be the new head of communication at TSG Hoffenheim!

Sinsheim, Deutschland - TSG Hoffenheim faces an exciting change in the communication department. From August 1, 2025, Franziska Kipper-Schreyer will take over the management of the Bundesliga club's communication. It follows Christian Frommert, who tragically died at the beginning of the year. This makes an important gap in the club management.

Kipper-Schreyer brings a wealth of experience in the new position. Her career includes almost a whole decade as head of corporate communication by the renowned Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung. In addition, she worked in various communication roles at companies such as Payback, Breuninger and the magazine Stern, most recently she was Director Global Communications at Freudenberg Home & Cleaning Solutions. She enjoyed her training in communication science, business administration and recent German literature in Mannheim and Munich and also worked as a systemic coach.

strategic realignment in communication management

Markus Schütz, CEO of TSG Hoffenheim, has already highlighted the strategic foresight and innovative strength of Kipper-Schreyer. Her focus is on the strategic direction of communicative measures and the brand -oriented positioning of the association. "Communication is becoming increasingly important in football. It extends far beyond the limits of the field," emphasizes the new head of communication.

TSG Hoffenheim is not only the responsibility with this appointment to optimize internal and external communication, but also to ensure an attentive and contemporary approach to the target groups. The digital strategy will be as important as the care of printed publications. With the change in management, the association signals continuous professionalization and strategic development, which is of central importance for the upcoming Bundesliga season 2025-26.

a strong team for the future

With Kipper-Schreyers entry into the management of TSG Hoffenheim, the management is now completely becoming complete. In addition to her, Asmahan Gamgami, who has been taking over the People & Culture since May, are Melanie Fichtner, who has been responsible for IT, Digital & KI since April, and Henrik Westerberg, who has been responsible for operations since autumn 2024. This strong team faces the challenges of professional football and the constantly changing media landscape.

Communication work in professional football is more complex these days than ever. The dependence on sporting success and the increasing requirements due to media change and boulevardization pose major challenges. Nevertheless, communication work remains an essential element, not only for branding, but also for the development of a strong community between the club and fans. Journalists and their own communication channels still play a crucial role.

For TSG Hoffenheim, the coming season can only be designed positively, while Kipper-Schreyer brings your ideas for an effective communication strategy and takes into account the interests of all stakeholders. An exciting chapter is imminent - both for the club and for the fans who can look forward to fresh impulses.
