The first course on June 30 is devoted to the "four keys to understand (d) to understand a child". Here the participants learn how to deal with nerve and power struggle situations confidently and offer the children the necessary support. On August 27, the introduction to non -violent communication (GfK) according to Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg in focus. GfK aims to promote respectful and empathetic communication and helps to work constructively. A topic that is becoming increasingly important today.
How violent communication in practice works
But what exactly is GfK and why is it so valuable for parents? GfK has already proven itself in numerous daycare centers, such as the daycare center on the Spreebogen in Berlin. Here she helps the educator: inside, improving dealing with the needs of the children. Conflicts are no longer seen as problems, but as opportunities for development. Communication with each other has improved significantly, since everyone involved is encouraged to express their feelings and needs. Children show more empathy and learn to tackle conflicts calmer, which in turn strengthens team dynamics. This is not only an advantage for the daycare team but also for the relationship with the parents.
An example from practice shows that children develop more sensitivity to the needs of others through projects such as “giraffe dream”. Here, children have learned to express their emotions more clearly and to deal with each other. The knowledge of one's own feelings and the ability to put them into words already conveys a good constructive tool for the little ones to master conflicts in everyday life.
